What We Offer

Courtney offers riding lessons for anyone with their own horse, she has been teaching riding for approximately 20 years in various disciplines.

She also offers training services for unstarted colts and green horses, she has been starting colts and working with green horses since 2010.

  • Lessons (you ride/handle horse) or training fee (hourly) for boarders

    • $45/ hour (private lesson)

    • $25/pp for group lessons (max 4)


    PLEASE NOTE: we do not have lesson horses, all lessons must be on your personal horse or leased horse.

    Lessons or training fee for non-boarders (trailering in - arena rental fee included)

    • $60 /hour (private lesson)

    • $30/pp for group lesson - (max 4)

  • Send your horse to North Slope Ranch for training on a monthly basis .

    Courtney has 15 years of experience starting colts and working with young and green horses. Reach out to inquire about this offering, limited spaces available!

    Board & Train for green horses or unstarted colts $1,600/month

    • Full board Services (daily feed, stall clean, turnout, care)

    • Horse is worked 4-6 days per week by Courtney depending on your horse’s needs

    • Includes 2 lessons for the owner per month

    • Includes: holding for vet or farrier, or other services, monthly worming

    • Not included: vet and farrier  or other services service charges

Evaluation

We have a meeting to get to know each other, your goals for you and your horse as a team - both long and short term. Courtney gets a chance to see where you and your horse are in the process.

Creating a Plan

You’re part of the planning. We will lay out a projected plan with goals and a timeline that makes sense for you and your horse. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no black boxes or surprises.

Commitment

Every project is different. We stay flexible and responsive to make sure the process fits you and your horse. Not every plan will unfold the exact way we initially imagined and each program will be tailored to fit the horses’ needs.

Plan with Purpose

As always, at North Slope Equine, we have your horses’ well being and success in mind for a long and happy life. Plans will be altered based on those needs, both mental and physical.
